There Needs to Be More Vegan Guys!

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the majority of vegans and vegetarians are female? Maybe some guys are afraid that caring for animals or the environment isn't manly. Well, here are 10 reasons why being vegan is HOT for guys.
  1. Girls find it cute when a guy actually cares about something other than COD or football.
  2. Knowing that a guy cares about and respects animals makes a girl believe that a guy will care for and respect her, too.
  3. Being veg gives you a better chance with vegan and vegetarian girls, and everyone knows that veggie chicks are the cutest (click on female contestants to see more).
  4. Subsequently, no cute veggie girl is gonna want to swap spit with you if you taste like a pepperoni pizza.
  5. A diet high in cholesterol can cause impotence in men. Last time I checked that wasn't very manly.
  6. Nor is being pudgy from a high-fat diet. Just saying...
  7. Milk has been linked to aggravated acne outbreaks. That's uh, real sexy.(And no, this isn't just PETA bullshitting reasons. My skin got 10000x better after shunning dairy products.)
  8. A balanced diet high in fruits and veggies make you less prone to getting sick. Doesn't sound like a big deal in the dating scene, but try making out with a runny nose and you'll see my point.
  9. Its a turn off for girls when a guy takes himself so seriously that he refuses to be compassionate.
  10. Generally, girls think animals are cute. So, by helping animals you get your name associated with "cute." Score for you!
If any guys who are considering going vegetarian/vegan are reading this, please know that a lot of girls find veggie men attractive, even if they aren't vegetarian themselves (think numbers 1, 2, 9, and especially 10!) I myself am back on the market, and although I don't date exclusively vegan, finding out that a guy is vegan or vegetarian is probably the biggest turn on possible!

Wish you were my cat Deuce's in this picture? Being vegan will definitely help you!

P.S. The hottie on the side is Tim McIlrath, the vegan lead singer of one my favorite bands, Rise Against.

yep there's definintely a lack of vegan guys, although there seems to a submit of cyclists who ride those fixed bikes and have beards and skinny jeans and are vegan. Bit too fashionista for me (besides I'm married hehe)

I'll expand on your idea by suggesting we need more gay male vegans. I still haven't found one for me =(

I kind of remember a study that said that veg*ns smell better than non-veg*ns, too. Everyone wants to be with someone who smells good. :)

Also drinking milk can cause kidney stones. ouch!

I work at a grocery store and encounter a few vegan males now and again, and I do enjoy talking to them a lot more than dudes buying salami. I met my fiance that way, he was vegetarian at the time and I jokingly told him to enjoy his cheese that he purchased that day. He felt guilty, dropped the dairy and asked me out. The rest is as they say, history. (:

Vegans and vegetarians taste better, too. Been a vege for just about ever, but most women find a vegetarian male's advances offputting, because it's harder to find good restaurants for dates!
maybe someone needs to set up a vege dating service...

I've been mostly vegan for years. Makes it easy to open up spiritually. But I love my football. I'm glad I'm a guy.

Hi. I'm a vegan guy and I think that there is a bad stereo type for vegan and vegetarian guys you know? People think that vegan guys are feminine ane weak.

I don't think I am any different than I ever was now that im vegan. I am healthier and stronger since I work out more now than I used to.

I still wear lucky jeans and t-shirts and I probably always will.

I just think people, guys and girls are scared of the stigma associated with veganism and I am always more than happy to destroy that stigma.

6'3 vegan male 190 ibs 26 years old.

Peace. and good for you.

oh yeah and I like Call of Duty.. : >

I'm a 22 year old vegan male.

I've been vegan for a couple years now, and I'm having a tough time in the dating scene.

Being vegan has caused many difficulties in that area for me. I've dated a few meat eating women, and I just end up getting turned off and uninterested.

I just want to find some vegan/vegetarian women to date, but they seem nowhere to be found!

PS:Awesome blog BTW ;-)

As a vegetarian guy I do find hard to find vegetarian or vegan girls and I found one and it was great we went out for five years but it just didn't workout. Being single again and trying to find a girl who is vegetarian or vegan is close to impossible. It may just be the area I live in now I know it's easier in larger cities but now that I've moved back home I kinda just feel like a fish out of water.

As for the stereotype of vegetarian or vegan guys being weak or feminine I hear that crap all the time and honestly I've never been more healthy or active since I began vegetarian. And I'm no push over, I love sports whthwr it be football, hockey or soccer. I find most people are suprised to know that I'm vegetarian. Oh and Call of duty rules lol I'm more a modernwarefare kinda guy though.

A good list of reasons and yet I, a vegan, still can't get a girl... Goddamn my lack of self-esteem... As for Tim, I'd do him...

Im a raw vegan guy too. And I'm not some beard-faced-skinny jean wearing-fashionista. You should hear the amount of shit I take from my friends at the gym (btw i'm a amateur boxer)

I'm a t-shirt and (normal but not too baggy) jeans kinda vegan guy. I'm looking for vegan jeans now and can only find skinny or worse yet skinny stretch jeans. Maybe the supply forces the hip boys on bikes into their look! Anyone have any leads on where to get some normal vegan mens jeans? I may be vegan but my *ahem* still needs some room!

Google Search!
