Previously this blog was dedicated to the life and endeavors of a teenage vegan navigating a non-vegan world, with recipes, tips, animal activism and more! Now, as of March 2011, I am embarking on a raw food journey for health as well as ethical reasons. Although I am currently raw, I am leaving all of my previous content up, including cooked-food recipes, etc. Veganism is great for the planet, the animals, and YOU!, no matter which form of it you choose to follow :)

Random Questions
What's the most bizzare or random question you've been asked about veganism?
Here are my two favorites:
1) Don't cows explode if you don't milk them?
2) Do you eat beefsteak tomatoes?

LOL I love the 'exploding cow' question so much.
I haven't really had any super-odd questions, mostly the standard "plants dying for your salad" fare. People are so original.
I'm a meat-eater at this point, but I'm considering a vegan "experiment" to see how it affects my health. However, I'm allergic to soy and to many nuts. What other things are good means of protein? I think various types of beans, but I don't want to eat them at every meal.

You'd be surprised how much I get the cow one.
Yeah, the "plants died" one gets old fast.
